They arrest "Pablo Escobar Español", the main importer of heroin in the European country (VIDEO)

The Spanish National Police had arrested the country's largest importer of heroin and had disbanded the organization it headed along with nine other detainees, six men and three women. During the operation, the largest seizure of this drug in recent years took place with the seizure of 55 kilograms.

The base of operations of the kingpin, considered by the researchers as the "Pablo Escobar Español de la heroin" and from whom his identity has not transcended, was in the city of Toledo, only 70 kilometers from Madrid, while the drug was acquired in the Netherlands and distributed across several Spanish provinces (Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León and Extremadura).

Searches have been carried out in eight houses in Madrid, Toledo and Cáceres, as well as in a car dealership and a mechanical workshop, both in the latter province. The agents have found the drug in the form of square cobblestones and also impregnated in wooden planks. In addition, vacuum packaging machines, 51,000 euros in cash in 100 and 50 euro banknotes, three firearms, numerous jewelry and luxury watches and six automobiles have been intervened.

The operation has involved canine agents, who have travelled the homes tracking the drug. The officers have also found, camouflaged in the household appliances of the building, several notebooks with notes on criminal activity, while two of the firearms and ammunition were hidden inside children's backpacks.

Eight of the ten detainees have been imprisoned. It is believed that the leader of the group had a close relationship with an international drug trafficking group led by a Turkish citizen nicknamed 'the paralytic'.

Thus, during the investigations, it was found that he had made two trips to Istanbul, the capital of Turkey, during the months of July and September last year, with the aim of personally negotiating the import of drug shipments with the Turkish heroin supply organization.
