When and how did you decide to dedicate yourself to the world of makeup? What was the first experience that made you opt for it? I decided to dedicate myself to this world just 2 years ago, in 2017. I left the psychology degree I was doing, asked for a loan from the bank and seriously began to train. This world had always caught my attention, but I didn't think you could make a living from it. Until I realized that instead of studying, I spent my time swallowing all the Jeffree Star tutorials and RuPaul's Drag Race episodes and replicating all the makeup I saw and that made me much happier than studying Psychometrics.

Where did you train as a makeup artist? I began to train myself in a self-taught way, and when I got serious I received creative and fashion makeup classes with Javier Sevillano, which by the way, were the best.

What inspires you when doing makeup? I usually draw inspiration from esotericism, the image of women in history, art, the world of witches, drag art, illustrations, myths... Normally things occur to me when I watch movies, series, or read books with dark themes. In this editorial, for example, I have been inspired by the female figures of the Major Arcana of the tarot, which is a subject that I love.

Who are your references in the world of makeup? My referents are make-up artists, both international and Spanish, who make works of art and who take make-up further, giving it true meaning. I could mention Alex Box, Noah Faun, Alexandra Joseph, Daniel Sallstrom... And many others that I discover every day through networks, in editorials, etc.

Your favorite brands? The brands I usually do makeup with are MAC, Make Up For Ever, BECCA, Nyx, Jeffree Star Cosmetics and Huda Beauty.

Do you watch any shows or TV series that help you get inspired? Rupaul's Drag Race, not only because of the makeup they do but because of the number of references they give, American Horror Story (Always Coven), Euphoria, and above all movies like Bram Stoker's Dracula, Sleepy Hollow or The Craft.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? In 10 years I would like to say that I have left my hands working so hard, that I have learned and will continue to learn as much as I can, that I have been lucky enough to be able to dedicate myself entirely which I like, and perhaps I see myself as a trainer teaching future makeup artists.

If you weren't MUAH, what would you do? clinical psychologist

What's the weirdest project you've ever done? The weirdest and funniest was a parade that was made in tribute to Sansanonasnas in which we had to replicate their looks, we had a great time.

What would you say to yourself from when you started? Be patient, stop comparing yourself to other people, that everyone has their times and that everything will be worth it.
