So with the prohibition that was made to do cosmetic tests in animals, in Mexico, our country adds to the world agenda for animals rights.

Specifically, the Reform Initiative states that tests in animals of cosmetic ingredients, cosmetic products already finished, or some previous mixture are prohibited throughout the Mexican territory, in addition, the reform also proposes that it cannot be manufactured, import or market cosmetic products whoseCompanies have tested animals.

Hence, once the reform is duly published in the DOF, all companies in the cosmetic industry will be obliged to include a legend in which they indicate that their products are free of animal cruelty.
