Marian Keyes presents in Madrid "My Life: Instructions for Use", accompanied by Elísabet Benavent

The new book by Marian Keyes, a best-selling writer in the Anglo-Saxon world, is a compilation of various articles that she has published in different British and American newspapers. She has accompanied them with other articles that she was publishing on her website and a few others that she has written for the book and they are the first time they have seen the light to the delight of her legion of followers. Both writers have a large number of female admirers. In their novels and articles they deal with the female world, especially the youthful one, in a recurring way. For example, Marian Keyes offers several articles on the beauty gadgets she uses. Makeup bases, lipstick colors or clothing are some of the topics she writes about in her articles. “I need color in life and on my lips”, the Irish author would confess. Elísabeth Benavent also needs color in her life, proof of this is the green color that she wears in her hair. The two authors disagree on the issue of shoes. “I don't know how to wear flat shoes”, would say the petite Marian Keyes. Quite the opposite happens to the Spanish writer. “If I wear high-heeled shoes, my family whistles the song El cóndor pasa for me,” says Elísabet Benavent, who is just over 1.75 meters tall, with a laugh. But, also, he has made many trips following the Irish soccer team. Cyprus, Israel or England itself have been the destinations to which he has been following his favorite football team. As we can see, the matches he has attended are with great soccer powers. One of the trips where he had the best time was to Brazil, but he didn't go there to see any soccer match. A pity! He also travels a lot to attend concerts, both rock and pop. Kyle Minogue or Robert Plant, both with Led Zeppelin and with Allison Krauss are some of those who have attended and liked it the most. Whenever he visits a city, he enjoys getting lost in pastry shops and pastry shops. "In Madrid, I have been able to verify that they are very good," he says.
