According to the expert, there are two types of deodorants on the market, one that is simply a perfume deodorant, and another that is also an antiperspirant. It is not well seen that people sweat and therefore, antiperspirant is used (especially women, but today it is very common for men to have this type of 'participation' in products).

“The problem is that all antiperspirants inhibit the sweat glands that go to the lymphatic system, which is the one in charge of purifying toxins; everything we eat is eliminated by the body with sweat and well, the armpits are an area where we sweat and discard these substances; antiperspirants shrink those pores and affect those glands and the body stops breathing. In the long run, this can increase the rate of tumor problems. In addition, we have to take into account the added toxins such as aroma fixers," Mazatl said.

Normal deodorant also contains certain toxins that affect the glands and the skin, which is why sometimes the armpits are darker than the rest of the skin, which means that the area where the product is applied may have problems. Additionally, aerosols from many of the products on the market pollute the environment and take up to 500 years to degrade.
