Natana launches high-quality natural products, a commitment to conscious, effective and sustainable cosmetics

Conscious, natural, vegan, quality and effective cosmetics is Natana's commitment to the cosmetics market, where she also wants to make her way into the 'Conscious Beauty' movement. And, for this, it presents products formulated by the company itself in a sustainable way, natural assets obtained by circular economy.
"We are mainly targeting those people who, although they increasingly demand natural, sustainable cosmetics with social values, at the same time also demand that it be effective, since natural cosmetics by themselves are not effective enough for the care skin," says Laura Berzal, co-founder of the company.
"Unfortunately, natural cosmetics by themselves did not provide me with the efficacy I was looking for, so we have formulated our own products, with a high naturalness and quality of their active ingredients so that they provide this efficacy on the skin from the beginning and our products range from 93 % to 99%", emphasizes Laura.
Natana focuses research and development to obtain and use natural assets in 'upcycling' -circular economy-. Natana's first asset obtained through this process comes from the first fermentation of the grape for winemaking, the so-called 'Lees Concentrated'.
These dregs (lees) are a by-product that is usually later used as fertilizer and Natana uses these sludge converted into a postbiotic rich in antioxidants for skin care, finding the desired efficacy there.

The collaboration with the 'Vins de Taller' winery in l'Empordà has been of vital importance for this process and Natana is already working towards 2022 on the creation of new ranges of products, progressively, which will have an asset obtained of other by-products such as those that arise when producing oil, in this case originating in Andalusia.
"In Spain there are elements of world reference and obtaining products with high added value can also have significant recognition and help boost the economy after this pandemic," says Roger Guasch, co-founder of Natana.
The company seeks to democratize cosmetics because "we believe that good cosmetics are synonymous with health and well-being and by being born as a native digital brand, we will reach the end consumer in a simple, fast and comfortable way with very competitive prices," says Laura Berzal.
CONSCIOUS BEAUTY MOVEMENT
The brand is committed to being recognized in the so-called Conscious Cosmetics or 'Conscious Beauty' sector, a movement that is based on the desire to have a positive impact on society and not only on those who consume it.
"Natana feels united from the beginning to a series of values in favor of people and sustainability, which is why we have decided to adhere to the UN sustainable development goals for 2030. We feel especially motivated to promote education projects in surrounding areas and our community," declares Guasch.
Natana products are designed under the "less is more" concept and are made cold, thus minimizing the carbon footprint to the maximum during manufacturing. In addition, one of the most innovative is the powdered facial cleansing soap manufactured under the 'WaterLess' concept, that is, minimizing the use of water.
