Andrés García remembers the Beltrán Leyva as gentlemen

"They were gentlemen, all very educated," says Andrés García about the Beltrán Leyva family, one of the main ones in the drug world in the first decade of this century.

During an interview with the program Chisme no like, the actor admitted to having had a relationship with them, as indicated this week in the book "Emma and the other ladies of the drug trade," by Anabel Hernández.

She added that she always knew who they were and was never afraid.

"On the contrary, they help you when they can, right, it depends how you take it," he said.

"I am a well-known character in my work, I work with whomever I hire, I don't ask them where they were born or what they do," he stressed.

He recognized, as the book indicates, that they came to meet at his house in Pie de la Cuesta, in Acapulco. And also in restaurants.

But he does not know if Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán was at some point in any meeting.

"The Beltrán Leyva were gentlemen, all of them, very educated," García stressed.

The Beltrán Leyva Cartel was made up of the brothers Carlos, Alfredo, Héctor and Arturo, the latter having an alleged serious relationship with the driver Galilea Montijo.

The group that emerged in Sinaloa was in charge of assassins in Guerrero and Sonora.

When Alfredo was arrested by the Mexican army, the brothers blamed "El Chapo" Guzmán for them, starting a war, in which their "enemy's" son was killed.
