David Beckham has just added to his personal collection of jewels on wheels an edition specially created for and by him: the Maserati MC20 Fuoriserie.

The ambassador of the Italian brand has been able to participate in the design of this impressive car, which houses at its heart a V6 gasoline engine that drinks from the technologies of Formula 1.

From Modena to Miami, with many nods to pink

The design of the car began in Modena (Italy) in June 2021, and Beckham was present from the beginning of the assembly process of the model to the tests in the Italian city circuit. In November the delivery of this Italian beast took place.

The carbon fiber bodywork features a gloss black hue that contrasts with the trident logos on the grille and C-pillar, in black, but with a matte finish.

The Maserati lettering on the rear is also opaque, while the MC20 badge on the door is pastel pink, a nod to the crest of its soccer team, Inter Miami, as are the Brembo brake calipers.

The interior, in leather and Alcantara, is black with pink contrast stitching. The backrests, in Alcantara, are worked with a tone-on-tone laser engraving method and the headrest features three-dimensional embroidery in pastel pink.

Finally, in the central tunnel between the two seats, a personalized plaque with a glossy matte effect is displayed: at the top, next to the Trident, the Maserati Fuoriserie lettering is in pastel pink, and at the bottom is the phrase "For David " with an aluminum effect.

The impressive V6 that mounts It has two spark plugs per cylinder, filling in each intake phase the mixture in a first and small pre-combustion chamber before releasing all the mixture in the main chamber (that is, the cylinder). The goal is to smooth out the combustion process, thereby improving efficiency and increasing power.

To accompany the delivery, a promotional video entitled 'A love letter to Miami' has been created in which Beckham squeezes the MC20 through the streets of Miami in a style, to put it mildly, that is not recommended in the city.

Cars are all about individual taste, whether it's the model , the color or the small personal details of the interior," said the former Real Madrid player and current president of Inter Miami.
