The national artist of the moment, on the crest of the wave and after taking out the most important song of his career, breaks records in national and international lists.We talk about c.Tangana, and his work that is achieved alone, together with a good team such as the producer Little Spain, and other professionals like our interviewee.

Carla Paucar is the stylist, in addition to being one of the girls who appear, of the video clip of too many women and also left me from wanting from the hand of Alex Turrion (stylist of the protagonist).She, who has studied something totally different, has come to work with artists of the level of Nathy Peluso, Greta Fernández (for Vogue), DJ Flaca, Vega Almohalla and Paula Cendejas, among others by different directions that take life.

J: To put ourselves in context and understand more part of your work, can you tell us what is the creative process behind the video clips you work?

C: A priori you talk to the director, he tells you the ideas he has, what he needs and you from there you make a proposal.There are people who have a very closed idea and you propose, but there are times that tell you ‘I have a super open mind’.You are looking for referents, you raise your ideas and share them.They will tell you if they love it or ‘this does not fit me much continues to investigate here’.Once you get to an ideas agreement you start looking for where you have all your media, there are people who resort to Showrooms, I look for a lot of second hand, vintage stores because it is what I like the most.Until the day of filming arrives and everything looks splendid.

J: What was your role in C video clips.Tangana too many women and did you let me love?

C: The styling of C video clips.We did two people tangana, Alex Turrion and I at the same time.Moreover, he is the artist's stylist then, he is more in contact with Little Spain and in this project we both join together to work together.They already had a lot of idea how they wanted the video, but the idea of women in too many women who were like the protagonists, they wanted them to be very important and the idea of how to raise them to them of looks were the two.We wanted it to be very fashion, not a fashion film, but almost.And since I had a lot.

It was a little madness because the two video clips were at the same time because we were afraid that they would be confined to us.We had a cardboard so that nothing was forgotten.Each person in too many women went with their headdress, their gloves, their jewels, the looks have to be very different and apart, you left me to love, obviously there were much fewer people, but it was madness because we did almost everything at once.

J: What has been your career?How do you get to work with Nathy Peluso, C Tangana, Paula Cendejas...?

Well, I did not expect it, I have studied a very different thing, dance and theater, and yes because of the social networks I have always liked fashion.Whenever I go I go as if it were a gala and I'm going to buy the bread, so to go up to Instagram they started contacting me.‘Hey, do you dress me?.It is true that my whole circle moves, in one way or another, among stylists, photographers...They trusted me, it went well and so little by little from there.I'm also lucky that these projects are from my friends who also like my job.

Nathy Peluso's video clip, healthy health.Although I had previously worked with Nathy at an `editorial for Mine magazine.He told me ‘this goes a lot with the roll you do’ and super guay.The same with these projects that we are doing with Little Spain, with Alex I have worked more times and we do it super good together.A priori was hard because in the video clip of too many women there were 50 people to dress, but between the two we took out the super good curro.I have taken advantage of the opportunities that have given me if I thought it a lot twice because I was new in all this.

J: Too many women is more traditional, but I still see that it is very modern, how do you merge the deep town part with the most chic side?

C: I think that also came given, apart from the ideas of direction that were given, by the women who are specifically are girls with a lot of character, with a super marked personality and also in that it helps the result.A mixture with what they are that are very different, with a lot of freshness...There is an actress, another that makes performance, there are models, there is a wonderful mix.The approach comes from the entire team.

J: In fact, you leave in the video clip as one of the women...

C: Santos Bacana offered me when doing the fitting with Alex when I was trying all the looks for the girls, he told me that I fit a lot and that if I wanted to do it.I was very excited because the project I loved, although the most complicated part for me was to choose my own look because I liked all.

J: Are you looking for precise things or do you go with your mind open to new pieces?

C: A little of the two, as our references were very Chanel, of the 90s, a lot of pearl, a lot of gold, a lot of gold, we were looking for those things in particular, but then ideas were emerging.There is a look that carries one of the girls, Maika Merino, who came out in the video clip of too many women, before recording it a ‘fake’ campaign with her that is the one that leaves behind at the airport of you left me to love.Well, that look, it had to be super powerful then it has a beautiful necklace with giant pearls, a belt, a wonderful Mugler dress...We were looking for the greatest we found.Then we placed everything and saw what we lacked, if rings, headdresses, necklaces...

J: What garments, what textures or prints make us think: "That is very Spanish"?

C: flyers, moles, the red color, the carnations, as accessories a clamp of these great gold...

J: Very ‘Spain’ garments, such as the flag, can generate rejection, how do you play with that?

C: I on the subject of the costumes, which is what I compete, I think there is nothing that generates it, sometimes you have to treat it carefully so that a costume does not seem.This sometimes unites it with people on the day of the fair, so you have to be careful that you do not seem like you have gone to a bazaar and bought a shirt and you have thrown forward.Mix textures and balance so that you don't see a picture.

J: On the other hand, you left me from wanting is more avant -garde and contemporary, how is that reflected in the garments?

C: To start, the costumes and the concept regarding the first video clip has nothing to do with.I was thinking about the looks of the Bank's Chiquitos, but it is true that this idea, although it is more contemporary for the pants and shirt she wears, we wanted to place it in the 2000s and little.The grandparents' look, for example, which are my favorites (laughs), were very Japanese tourists.The typical hat, wide pants, sneakers, bone we place it in a different place.The one that goes dancing with the boy carries his little dress that can be a basic that you can buy in any store now.People's clothes were much more current, it was not as recharged as in the other, the colors were much more vivid.It is another air.

J: What are your favorite frames of the video clips?

C: I like too many women a moment that there is a screen behind with red and black lines (minute 1:40), and women appear very quickly.They look very little, but how little they are seen gives a lot of brushstroke of their character.It is also that since I have spent a lot of time with the girls, I am very focused on that.The Lord taking coverage is also very funny.When the plane arrives that are all placed I love it.Seeing all with its elements, it's like ‘Buah what guay, how this is going to get out’.It's very exciting.

J: Do you have any anecdote whether personal or professional in the creation of these video clips?

C: I'm going to tell you something quite fun, okay?It was a little painting when it happened.In the video clip of too many women I remember that we were already curing and I remember that a man of figuration came and said: ‘Would you have some underpants?’.And I was hallucinated.I thought, I have understood him badly, now what do I do.We assume that you come from home.I wore a sports pants underneath and told him that if you could put that under the suit.Something like that had never happened to me (laughs).

Also the grandparents in you left me of wanting were the most.When we finished shooting and the lady were leaving, he tells me: ‘Hey, and this, what channel do they throw it?’.I took a piece of paper and put him: ‘YouTube’.How do I explain to her that it is a video clip, an internet thing...There are many data.I hope you have seen it at least.

J: You have worked for other national artists, do you see this trend in others or do you think it is a very specific tangana?

C: Well...I can think of artists who do it with their music like María José Llergo, but at the image level, if I tell you the truth right now nobody comes up.As an artist in general, Javier Ruiz (C photographer.Tangana, Rosalia), he loves the most Spanish roll of 2000, the radical theme, the style of the discos we were going to of kids...As for designers I can think of Palomo Spain.

J: With Rosalia we saw an aesthetic influence, not so much, but at the beginning, of flamenco.How much influence do you think this genre has in the industry?

C: I think total.Because apart I believe that right now on the theme of Rosalia and other artists who have left out, suddenly it is seen that Spain has something very powerful that is his and that it was very interested.In the end is selling something that you have that nobody else has it.The same thing that has happened with reggaeton, which is breaking it because it is something from Latin America that they have, although there are more artists who make this style and do it very well.And they have realized that selling that outside works much more and nobody will do it better than you.Apart from you, you have lived it, the passion with which it is transmitted is not the same compares a person from outside.People buy it delight because hallucina.

J: Are there winks or symbolism in video clips?

C: There are things that are done on purpose, for example, the wink that the false campaign of too many women appeared in you let me want is totally on purpose.I don't know if people joined threads (laughs), but it is a wink that gets hooking with each other and they love to do it.

J: What are your current projects if you can tell us something already?

C: This week I am going to do a shooting with Aguirre, which I usually curra with it, and it is very special because I am going to do it with my nieces.I had the idea of making looks for very fashion children, but do not go dressed as an elderly.That they are things of your size, but taking it to a very specific place.I'm going to mix it with hair because I also work with hair and flip me, and how are my nieces because they lend themselves.The other day making them the fitting were freaking out, I put the little girl (4 years) huge clamp pending and was like a dog when you put a sweater: still.Explain that they did not harm and then they were already delighted.It is a project that makes me very excited.
