SANTO DOMINGO.- As a motivation to learn the art of handmade jewelry to create unrepeatable designs, the young entrepreneur Annetti Morillo makes her way in the creative world of jewelry design just over five years ago.

It stands out in the market for exhibiting unique pieces that claim the color and essence of the tropics, since it bets on using precious amber and larimar stones in its creations.

The Home Edition line is made up of decorative pieces, such as resin dolls.

The firm Annetti Design was created out of an impulse for renewal and authenticity, as Morillo says that, a few years ago, he was selling handbags and decided to add accessories as accessories (he has always liked accessories) so he placed an order with a distributor located in China and when it arrived the accessories were not what I expected in terms of quality.

She describes how, days later, she went to a bazaar to pick up some handmade earrings and told the girl that she was interested in learning. She adds: “This is how everything was born, she told me that there is a branch of the Altos de Chavón School in the capital and that is where I started doing the jewelry design course.
