Tips to take care of the skin in the summer
Within this framework, Dr. Cecilia Lamas (MN: 123554) from the dermatology team at Sanatorio Finochietto, which works on the prevention, promotion and treatment of different skin conditions, prepared a guide with recommendations to protect yourself of the sun during the summer season:
Ø For correct prevention, it is recommended to use sun protection creams with a protection factor greater than 30, broad spectrum (against UVA and UVB), covering all exposed skin. Renew it every 2 hours and after leaving the water.
Ø Avoid exposures between 10 am and 4 pm, as this is the time of greatest solar radiation.
Ø Remember that clouds allow the sun to pass through and that sand, water and snow increase its action.
Ø Do not expose children under 1 year of age to direct sunlight.

Ø Use clothing as sun protection (caps, hats, glasses, t-shirts).
Ø Apply sunscreen all over your face even if you wear a mask. When you return home, you should wash your face with soap and water and hydrate the area well.
Ø Stay in the shade and hydrate frequently with water.
Ø In case of excessive sweating, the appearance of spots or irregular freckles that have increased in size, go to the dermatologist.
