The Paraguay nation exported less soybeans for mere in production

Cereals and oleaginous (capeco).At the end of December 2021, Paraguay exported 288.822 tons less of soybeans in grain, since during the last season 6 were sent.329.457 tons, a 4% decrease in relation to 6.618.279 tons raised in 2020.
In this regard, LIC.Sonia Tomassone, Foreign Trade Advisor of Capeco, said that the drop in exports was due to the decrease in oleaginosa production.According to estimates, the production of soybeans Zafra 2020/2021 was 9.4 million tons, about 836.000 tons less than the previous campaign, due to adverse agroclimatic conditions that are hurtingly being exacerbated in this harvest.
While this decrease in production translated into a lower export and processing volume, the shipments of the soy complex (grains, oils and soy pellets) allowed an additional income of US $ 1.115 million for the improvement in international prices.
