'Moisture sandwich': the Korean technique to avoid dry skin
For years Korean cosmetics have been positioned as one of the pioneering industries in terms of skin care advances. Their cosmetics cause anger outside their borders and now we get the latest technique from Korea to keep the skin of our face hydrated throughout the winter.
As we already know, low temperatures cause our skin to face extreme conditions (as is also the case in the hottest months of the summer) and to keep it hydrated the Korean beauty industry has come up with a new technique called moisture sandwich.
Based on the Korean '3-second rule', according to which you must apply the products on your face, only three seconds after you wash your face, avoiding pat drying; now you will have to make sure that your skin is still wet when you apply sera and moisturizers. Why is that? Because the wet skin is much more receptive to the formulas you apply to it.

"it is a matter of retaining moisture and allowing the assets to be deeply absorbed. We always recommend that the skin be wet from the first cleaning before applying the active and moisturizing products. By keeping the moisture in the skin, we thus help to ensure that the cumulative benefits of the formulations are moved faster and more satisfactorily to our face, ensuring total absorption and metabolic regeneration," assures Susie Willis, creator of the cosmetic brand Romilly Wilde.
Wet, but not wet
Don't get confused and think that you should now use more water when cleaning your face. It is only a matter of not allowing more than 3 seconds to pass between cleaning and the application of moisturizing creams. You'll notice the difference.
