They didn't know how to do it properly, without removing the top layers of the nails," said the president of Bettina Cosmetics.

This is how the launch of the Fortifying Nail Cream was born, which, according to Bettina, is a product to restore and strengthen weak nails, while moisturizing and nourishing the cuticles. This, with a well-cared elaboration, so that it complies with the approach of creating products that are healthy for the skin.

“The skin is the largest organ in the body and absolutely everything we put on it, good or bad, is going to go into the bloodstream. We made a commitment in our manufacturing to make sure we work with products that are preservative free, gluten free, vegan, phthalate free and fragrance free, especially in skin care, because fragrances tend to be dehydrating. With that in mind, as a company commitment we decided to create Fortifying Cream, which only contains essential oils and, depending on the fragrance, these are: castor oil, lavender and keratin, especially because it allows the nail to regenerate”, he explained. the businesswoman

According to Bettina, her commitment to social welfare and the reception of the product that they promoted on the networks and that, in the beginning, they only sold online, led her to think about expanding the range of products, focusing on hand care and the feet, which represent an essential part of personal well-being.

“That was the spearhead for what we later called Bettina Care. If we are a brand whose main focus is hand care through nail colors, we should have additional products that would allow us a perfect manicure”, stated Mercado.

Bettina Cosmetics created a hand and foot cream with essential oils. In the case of the hands, she launched the Tangerine Hand Cream, which moisturizes and softens dry skin, using tangerine "because the citrus line always gives you a feeling of cleanliness, of well-being," described the businesswoman. For feet, there's Peppermint Foot Cream, which uses peppermint to "moisturize and provide a feeling of energy and recovery for the feet," she detailed.

However, it also created the Antimicrobial Hand Lotion, a product that has the purpose of disinfecting and moisturizing hands at the same time, especially in these times of pandemic where it has become a necessary habit to disinfect hands with alcohol and hand sanitizer. products that can affect the skin.

“It was extremely necessary, considering that we are using hand sanitizer and alcohol all day to sanitize our hands. We decided to create a hand cream with benzalkonium chloride and moringa seed, since this ingredient eliminates 99% of the bacteria on the hands, but it does not dry out like alcohol”, commented the owner, who stated that alcohol is also “very hard on the nails, because they dry out terribly and it makes the nail polish last less because, when the nails are dry, the polish begins to lift.
