Seoul, April 10 (Yonhap) - The Amorepacific group has announced, this Wednesday, that its main brand, Laneige, has entered the European market, as the main manufacturer of cosmetics of South Korea accelerates its launch in the Foreign.
Laneige, Middle -Year, Amorepacific products are now available in more than 800 stores in the French cosmetic chain Sephora in 18 countries, including France, Russia, Spain, Italy, Poland and Germany, said the group.
"Amorepacific is excited to have Sephora as an exclusive retail partner for Laneige," said General Manager of Amorepacific Europa, Thierry Maman, in a press release.

The European Cosmetics Market occupies about 22 percent of the global market, according to data from 2017, said the firm, citing a report by the Euromonitor market research company.
The European Amorepacific business includes the luxurious fragrance brand Goutal Paris, which acquired the firm in 2011.Amorepacific also launched in the region, in 2017, its luxury brand for skin care, Sulwhasoo.
Amorepacific has been reinforcing its presence abroad after suffering weak profits, mainly due, to a fall in the number of Chinese tourists in South Korea, its main source of income.
Laneige has entered a total of 15 countries, since its first launch abroad, in Hong Kong, in 2002.
Last year the business group registered a net profit of 335.000 million wones (307 million dollars), which represents a fall of 16 percent year -on -year.
