Puerto Rico will reduce the public's ability to sporting events by COVID
San Juan, Dec 29 (EFE).- The increase in the positivity rate of the COVID-19 in Puerto Rico, which this Wednesday reaches 25.9 %, has led to the island's government to announce that the public capacity of public in sporting events will be reduced from tomorrow,Thursday.

The 2021-010 circular letter allows the presentation of a positive result to the virus of the past three months prior to the activity, together with documentation of its recovery, including a letter from a certified health provider or of some government health officer that certifiesthat the person is recovered and ready to go to public places.
Likewise, only a maximum of 50 % occupation of followers in closed places and 75 % in the facilities that are outdoors will be allowed.
However, the consumption of alcoholic beverages will not be allowed in the area of the bar or in the area of the fences.
"I trust the faithful fulfillment of these guidelines and in the collaboration of our entire sports community to ensure the health, safety and health of all athletes and athletes," Quiñones added.
