Courèges: freshness and modernity in the debut of Nicolas Di Felice
In this Paris Fashion Week we have seen, and it has only just begun, many premieres. First, Gabriela Hearst at Chloé, and now the Belgian designer Nicolas Di Felice for the French firm Courrèges. A presentation that has not left anyone indifferent and that had been advertising for days on the streets of the capital of Paris on white murals with the word "courage" (in English, courage). This is how we could see it in one of the Belgian designer's Instagram posts where he added, “Today we painted the word « courage » on blank spaces for new beginnings, hopes and dreams”.
The freshest, most sexy and modern collection of Courrèges
The Nicolas Di Felice collection has been presented in a white cube where only the models have been present. A blank canvas where the Belgian designer has embodied his new beginning in the firm. A collection that mixes sportswear with other more elegant garments. A perfect combo for a free, independent and modern woman.
Regarding the materials chosen by the firm, we have seen different options. From leather to vinyl. We have seen this last fabric in mini skirts and dresses with cutouts on the side of the garments. Accompanying these garments, we have not been able to ignore the kilometric heeled boots in different colors that the brand has presented. As for the coats and some dresses, as well as the rounded glasses, they have presented a very marked 60's aesthetic.
Accessories such as large bags with a checkered print, as well as XL version earrings, have not been lacking.
