Mario Hernández, without a doubt, is one of the most recognized –and also loved– businessmen in Colombia. He has become known in the country thanks to the fashion brand that bears his name, which is dedicated to the production of leather items for men and women.

A couple of months ago the brand presented its Butterflies collection, which is aimed at women, with the sale of handbags and wallets that have these lepidoptera embodied in their designs.

This Friday the businessman published through his Twitter account that, apparently, an important fashion brand –recognised worldwide– copied his designs: “The Bulgari brand copied us! They copy the good Gracias,” Hernández wrote, accompanying the post with a photo of a butterfly-print bag.

Bulgari, part of the LVMH conglomerate, is an Italian luxury goods and jewelry brand that is launching a new design for its line of bags. “An explosion of summer colors.
